How we estimate and bill your moving service

Every move is unique – our estimates are carefully prepared based on the details you provide, such as your inventory, description of the move, or photos.

Our goal is always to give you the most accurate estimate possible, but the actual duration of the move can also depend on how prepared and accessible your space is on moving day.

Clear hallways, reserved parking for the truck, and boxes fuf/y packed in advance help make the process faster and smoother. When everything is organized and ready, your move glides seamlessly and stays on schedule.

For standard residential moves, we apply a 3-hour minimum service. Most full home moves naturally take longer than that, so this minimum mainly allows us to properly reserve time for each client and ensure our crew and truck are available.

If you only need help moving a single item or a very small job, feel free to contact us – we can often find a different arrangement.

At the end of the move, the total working time is rounded to the nearest 15 minutes – sometimes up, sometimes down – whichever is closest.

For transportation time between pickup and delivery locations, we apply the Double Drive Time (DDT) rule. This is not a company policy but a regulation required by the State of California for licensed moving companies.

Aside from these standard rules, there are no hidden charges. We do not charge extra for stairs, elevators, long carries, or fuel – everything is clearly explained in your
estimate.

When you request a quote, we do our best to estimate how long the packing will take and what supplies may be needed. Our goal is simply to give you a clear and realistic idea before the job begins.

For smaller packing needs, we can often take care of it the same day as your move. Larger packing jobs are usually easier to hand le one or two days before moving day. It alwaysdepends on the size of the job and your schedule, and we do our best to f ind the solution that works best for everyone.

Packing materials are not included in the moving service. We offer professional supplies – boxes, wrap, paper, and more – available individually or through convenient packing packages listed below.
